The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and highly driven Freight Dispatcher to join our logistics team. You will be the vital link between our drivers, brokers, and shippers—responsible for negotiating high-paying freight rates, booking loads, mapping efficient routes, and ensuring smooth on-the-road operations. What You’ll Do
🚚 Load Booking & Routing
Scout load boards (DAT, Truckstop) to secure top-paying freight. Plan efficient, profitable routes minimizing deadhead miles.
🤝 Broker Negotiations
Negotiate optimal rates with freight brokers and shippers. Secure rate confirmations and manage the necessary paperwork.
📱 Driver Support
Act as the primary point of contact for drivers. Assist with directions, breakdown resolutions, and delivery appointments.
⚖️ Compliance & Tracking
Monitor driver progress, track shipments in real-time, and ensure strict compliance with DOT and HOS regulations.
Required Expertise
- ✅Proven experience as a Truck/Freight Dispatcher handling Dry Vans, Reefers, or Flatbeds.
- ✅Deep familiarity with major load boards like DAT Power and Truckstop.com.
- ✅Aggressive but professional negotiation skills with a strong grasp of current freight market rates.
- ✅Excellent multitasking abilities, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- ✅Solid understanding of FMCSA rules, Hours of Service (HOS), and general safety regulations.
